Owner, Ellen Wolpin found it challenging to dress her twin boys, Max and Zack, after they turned one. The difficulty was in finding outfits that were "pure boy" and not worn by everyone else in the playground. She would spend much of her free time going from store to store trying to find the latest and trendiest clothing for her boys. Harder still was finding something that looked like it belonged on a boy.

Ellen's frustration and sore feet led to the inspiration for Pure Boy Clothes. After all, why should little girls be the only ones who can have fun with fashion?
